Nesco Resource is working with a well-established and reputable organization in its search for a Procurement Manager! This is a direct hire position.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the MRO database system ensuring part descriptions and ordering information is accurate.
  • Determine the appropriate level of MRO stock to be kept in the storeroom.
  • Evaluate reorder points based on historical usage and adjust as necessary.
  • Review requisitions prior to issuing PO's to determine if requisitions and quantities are appropriate.
  • Issue purchase orders for MRO stock and vendor PM services.
  • Review pending PMs Order parts as needed, stage parts for upcoming PMs.
  • Review new equipment recommended spare parts lists and determine which parts are critical to stock. Cross reference parts to existing stock to ensure there are not duplications and excess stock.
  • Create and maintain equipment BOMs for production and facility equipment.
  • Manage the external vendor PM program on production and facility equipment.
  • Assist Operations and Maintenance Managers to identify and order parts needed for planned shutdowns.
  • Provide technical support to Maintenance & Production Departments.
  • Interface with vendors to ensure timely deliveries and to mitigate price increases.
Requirements:
  • Associates degree, with a preference in Electrical or Mechanical Technology.
  • Minimum of five to seven years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of MRO products for a mid-size manufacturing company.
  • Spreadsheet and CMMS software skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
