Key performance areas
  • Provide electrical and electronic controls, troubleshooting, analysis, repair, and installation of plant wide production and non-production equipment.
  • Perform scheduled field calibrations of instrumentation and other devices in accordance with the ISO9001 standard.
  • Provide ready to serve (RTS) support to the E-Techs and Maintenance teams, as needed.
  • Provide technical and/or project support for QOMs, AOLs, and Engineer's specific projects.
  • Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical experience. An Electrician's License is a plus.
  • Must have a passing score on Electronics & Instrumentation Associate skills test.
  • Experience with Client electrical components, VFD's, SCR's, and operator interface terminals, including a strong understanding of PLC's.
  • Understanding of power distribution systems and components.
  • Sound working knowledge of analog and digital instrumentation.
  • Strong background in NEC, NFPA 70E, and other applicable code requirements.
  • Demonstrated and proven "hands on” troubleshooting skills relating to the startup and debugging of equipment.
  • Proven ability to read and understand electrical drawings.
  • Two years manufacturing experience / Machining / Line Assembly a plus.

Essential functions
  • Requires lifting and/or handling instrumentation equipment including control boxes (30-35 lbs), pushing/pulling tool cart.
  • Extensive stooping and bending may be required.
  • Standing or walking for prolonged periods may be necessary.
  • Must be available to work a reasonable amount of overtime.
