Description/Comment:
The Process Engineer - Anodizing will increase and optimize performance of anodizing process through implementation of best practice technology, work design, and process support and will be responsible for all Engineering support for the anodizing department and functions as the area Process Engineer.

Major Activities / Key Challenges
• Develops and implements optimal, cost-effective processes and methods in accordance with product specifications, quality, and health/safety standards. Recommends and implements improvements to production processes, methods and controls.
• Designs, develops and tests and/or sources and cost-justifies various tools, machinery and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods.
• Performs research, design and development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods and production equipment.
• Prepares and maintains detailed layouts of buildings and equipment.
• Coordinates the manufacturing launch of new/revised products including establishing goals, training team members and evaluating results.
• Performs product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency.
• Devises and implement preventative, total productive and predictive maintenance plans to drive equipment reliability to best in class
• Develops solutions to repetitive failures and other maintenance problems and provides troubleshooting support for all anodizing assets/systems

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years' work experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls Engineering.
• Working knowledge of Anodizing process and project management skills.
• Experience in requesting and justifying capital funding
• Experience in reliability excellence and use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
• Experience with PLC's (Allen Bradley)
• Experience with water treatment systems
• Experience and aluminum fabrication experience
• Experience with AutoCAD and or Autodesk Inventor
• Ability to analyze difficult and complex engineering systems and render clear interpretation and direction
• Experience with process control tools
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Access, Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to take the initiative, provide leadership, meet deadlines and work in a team environment
