SUMMARY: Responsible for safely and efficiently operating a tractor-trailer or bobtail truck to deliver sheets or finished products to customers in accordance with state laws.
Generally, expected to work as a valued member of the shipping and receiving operations team.

This job will primarily consist of local vehicle operations and deliveries within the Central Florida Area to include, but not limited to, Volusia County to the east, Pinellas County to the south and west, and Marion County to the north.

Home Each Night.. Local within Central Florida
*Operate company owned and leased trucks over 4 tons to facilitate shipping and receiving operations.
*Operate trucks for the delivery, pickup and relocation of products and materials
*Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations
*Operate all Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
*Maintain all required certifications required by DOT, OSHA and company safety programs
*Load/unload or assist in loading/unloading finished product into or from trailer.
*Inspect load in trailer to ensure it is properly loaded and that it is the correct load before leaving.
*Verify count while truck is being unloaded, as allowed by customers.
*Transport load by required route to proper destination while observing all traffic laws and safety regulations.
*Obtain shipping bill of lading and necessary signatures and return completed paperwork to shipping office.
*Complete necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner, including but not limited to: Production Data, Truck Service Data, Safety Data and Quality Data.
*Complete daily timecard, driver logs, and all other work reports accurately and in a timely manner.
*Must have a clean driving Record
*High school diploma or GED.
*Must pass substance abuse screening according to company policy.
*Ability to operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner at all times
*Ability to make early morning and late night runs as required by shipping needs
*3 or more years' experience as truck driver
*Required to maintain Forklift Certification
*1 or more years' experience as a forklift operator
