Hours M-Th, 7am-5:30pm, able to work rotating shifts if needed.

  • Analyzes problems for mechanical and operational issues with equipment and takes appropriate action. Conducts adjustments to maintain top notch production & quality of operations.
  • Gains full knowledge of production schedule, and during downtime, makes alterations equipment sizes or performs necessary maintenance.
  • Tests equipment regularly. Fixes issues and ensures machinery is in proper working order when not in use.
  • Using gauges and instrumentation, you'll test, measure, and examine product for quality and record the data.
  • You will be responsible for conducting maintenance checks of equipment and report all information to your supervisor.
  • Daily recording of any production delays.
  • Any consistent equipment problems must be handled, reported, and supplies ordered.

  • Your responsibilities can include managing building/cleaning/janitorial employees.
  • Keep up employee morale and help others understand the urgency of schedule of production.
  • Follow and support all internal procedures, programs and activities.

  • Five years or more related experience, and preferably a 1 year college or technical school certificate.
  • Must have a working knowledge of PLC's in manufacturing.
  • Preferred experience with high voltage AC/DC.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills and a keen ability interpret documents. You'll need to absorb safety rules, operating/ maintenance instructions, working manuals.
  • You must be able to calculate mathematically the following - percentages and proportions, volume, interest, area circumference.
  • Any experience with roll up doors or order pickers is helpful.

  • Employee must be able to and expected to stand, walk, use your hands constantly to feel for equipment issues, climb, crawl, and have the ability to hear your equipment in operation.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
  • Your hearing must be keen, your visual abilities must include being able to see very well both near and far, must have color visual ability, and great depth perception.
  • You will need to use up to 75% of force physically – pushing & pulling and relocating your equipment. This is mandatory.
