Seeking a talented Sr. System Security Engineer to join a team performing the following:
Creating DIACAP / RMF packages in Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS).
Test and Evaluation (T&E), parsing scan results, assessing IA Controls, and producing Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM).
Evaluating technical / non-technical features of an information system to assess if a system is approved to operate at an acceptable level of risk based on implementation of an approved set of technical, managerial, and procedural safeguards.
Facilitates or supports C&A activities to include the Pre-certification, Certification, and Accreditation activities.
Participates in and influences IT/IA projects by providing expertise in security design and implementation.
Maintains a Project Management (PM) Lifecycle Discipline for Assessment and Authorization (A&A) initiatives.
Serve as PM interface with the Government Stakeholders for Information Assurance (IA) projects and Controls.
Perform other duties as assigned

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a related field
8 years of experience in Information Technology
3 years of Certification & Accreditation (C&A) experience
Must possess a current Security certification
Must be able to obtain a CISSP, CASP, CISM or SSCP within six months of hire and also an Operating System Certificate (i.e. CCNA, MCSA, RHEL, etc.) within six months of hire.

Clearance: Secret

Experience with ACAS, SCAP Compliance Checker, DISA STIGS and SRR (scripts)
Qualified Navy Validator, preferred
Previous experience as a System Administrator
Network Engineering experience is preferred
Project Management Professional (PMP) and ITIL certification, preferred
