Nesco Resource is hiring Assemblers in Leetsdale, PA.
Qualified candidates must be able to work cooperatively as part of a production team to manufacture high quality medical devices and meet daily productivity and quality targets.  Duties are performed inside a Controlled Environment Manufacturing Facility (CEMA) where protective clothing must be worn and a high level of personal hygiene is maintained in accordance with local Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), to reduce contamination of the products.
 
Responsibilities include:
  • Assembling medical devices by performing a variety of tasks; rotates through all functions on the assembly line
  • Inspecting product to confirm proper assembly and removing defective products from the line according to quality criteria
  • Alerting appropriate personnel to any potential quality issues and stops the line until further direction is received
  • Replenishes materials as needed
  • Following all company and facility safety policies, procedures, and guidelines. Immediately reports potentially hazardous situations
  • May be asked to assist in the training of other assemblers
 
12 Hour Shift Rotation: Steady day or night crew shift openings (2-2-3 schedule)
Day Shift- 6:00 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. $11.75/hour
Night Shift- 6:00 p.m. to 6:15 a.m. $12.50/hour
 
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED
  • Must be able to lift/move up to 10 pounds on a regular basis
  • Candidates are subject to pre-employment testing prior to being offered a position
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred, but not required.
