International Customer Service Representative needed for an immediate 6-9 month contract assignment with our client in Farmington CT.  

Minimum Requirements
  • A.S or B.S. in Business, plus three years of experience as a customer service representative.
  • In lieu of degree, five years of corporate customer service experience required (manufacturing environment preferred). 
  • Detail and team oriented individual with a firm commitment to providing first class customer service required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook.  Knowledge of JD Edwards a plus.
Description of Duties:  
  • Provide/create commercial paperwork and other documents required to ship international orders.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding status of open orders, stock availability, and shipping information.
  • Expedite backlog working with individual planners and buyers. 
  • Address priority and/or emergency order situations, tactfully handle problems and complaints, and recognize and solve possible problems before they become critical. 
  • Log and research customer disputes.
  • Provide order entry assistance as required. 
  • Process return material authorization requests.
  • Handle basic department related duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Serve as backup for other reps as necessary.
