ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (to include but not limited to):
  • Answer Helpdesk calls/maintain Helpdesk and assign requests to appropriate IS Technician to resolve.
  • Provide Windows Technical support for users
  • Resolve user queries by providing information from systems.
  • Fix Network and AS/400 Printing issues.
  • Monitor Network Alerts and reporting of connection problems to ISP.
  • Monitor all AS/400 Systems on (iSeries) Servers.
  •  Image New PC's and Laptops for exchange or new deployments.
PERIODIC JOB FUNCTIONS (to include but not limited to):
  • Reset network and AS/400 passwords
  • Set up network and AS/400 accounts.
  • Configure new or replacement Cell Phones for the company.
  • Maintain Scanner/Printer repair schedule.
  • Update AS/400 files; answer messages on AS/400 system.
  • Configure scanners; cancel scanner jobs; Troubleshoot scanner issues.
  • Perform system back-ups for AS/400's.
  • Perform Balancer Backups and gather Balancer Data.
  • Assist in Network cabling and termination.
 
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma and currently attending college, or Associate's Degree or 2+ years' experience in IS field
  • AS/400 experience (desired)
  • Strong communication skills
  • High level of teamwork
  • Flexible Hours (desired)

WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Work is performed in a normal office setting with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards. Occasionally required to walk on the production floor in a non-climate controlled environment.
