Summary: 
The customer service representative will field inbound calls relating to health insurance,  premiums, health plan selections, enrollment, and general program education. Processes applications for coverage utilizing analysis and data entry skills.

Duties: 
1. Responds to program services calls, provides responses to questions, mails information in response to request, and refers callers in the event of problems or concerns.
2. Educates participants on applications processing, eligibility determination, and enrollment procedures.
3. Assists eligible families in the choice of health plans.
4. Enters information into automated program information systems.
5. Reviews program applications and distinguishes between Medicaid and hawk-I eligibility requirements.
6. Maintains updated knowledge of the project.
7. Performs other duties as may be assigned by management.

Qualifications: 
  • High School Diploma or GED. 
  • Experience working in a call center or office enviornment.
