Nesco Resource has an exciting direct hire opportunity for one of our well respected clients in the contract manufacturing industry. We are seeking an HR Manager who will be responsible for providing manufacturing HR support as well as site level recruiting at each of their plants.

  • Coach all levels of management to address culture, moral and performance as well as on legal requirements when dealing with employee issues
  • Maintain and improve processes to promote hostile free environment
  • Communicate goals, KPIS and performance standards to all employees to ensure compliance
  • Help develop job requirements and identify top talent by working closely with hiring managers
  • Educate hiring managers on best hiring and screening practices.
  • Develop environment and action plans with managers to attract and retain employees at all levels
  • Work closely with managers to identifying top talent and actively manage their development
  • Coordinate and manage all OSHA and Hazard Communications initiatives
  • Work closely with the Department managers to support worker’s comp investigations, injury investigations, and accommodation process
  • Manage and follow up on all FMLA and leave of absence cases
  • Partner with staffing agencies to provide proper Direct Labor requirements to the plant
  • Additional responsibilities as required and to be described
** Please note that this position will require at least 50% presence on the manufacturing floor**

  • 4-8 years of experience in Human Resources including manager level or higher
  • 4+ years in an HR leadership role within a manufacturing plant
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Past experience with business process improvement and business transformation
  • Hands on full cycle recruiting experience
  • Strong understanding of FMLA, FLSA, ADA-AA, harassment prevention, harassment investigations, EEOC claims avoidance, HIPAA, and Dispute Resolution processes
  • Demonstrated experience implementing strategic HR initiatives in a high performance organization and driving change
  • SPHR highly preferred
