Financial Analyst for our Ion Chromatography / Sample Preparation (ICSP) global business unit.

Responsibilities:
The analysis of financial reports, trends and opportunities, relating to business opportunities, investments, financial projects, and programs for a business unit.
  • Provide finance support to the Marketing and R&D business partners and manage spend across these teams
  • Execute the monthly forecasting process for assigned organizations – G&A, Marketing, and R&D
  • Prepare and distribute timely and insightful financial analysis of pertinent information to determine progress against the strategic plan, budget, and forecast to aid stakeholders in external financial decisions.
  • Actively interpret and review financial results with business managers, including trends/issues and opportunities, to drive actionable responses.
  • Perform analysis that aids in the decision making process, helps improve profitability, and identifies new business opportunities.
  • Monitor monthly progress against budgets/targets and work with managers to ensure accountability.
  • Participate in the strategic and business planning process from a financial perspective.
  • Generate budgets that incorporate strategic business plan objectives and incorporate appropriate assumptions.
  • Execute the monthly forecasting process for assigned division, category, and cost centers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor/Master degree in Business Administration or likewise, CPA a plus.
  • At least 1 year of experience, strong preference for successful record in Financial Planning and Analytics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to deliver results against tight and complex timelines plus ability to navigate large amount of information.
  • Team player attitude, solid positive energy and confidence.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem solving skills.
  • SAP (or major ERP) experience strongly preferred.
  • ¿Advanced MS Excel skills required.
