Job Description:
This position supports acquisition and engineering efforts across all F/A-18 Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs in Lexington Park, MD. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
• Responds to direction from company manager/supervisor. Provides, supports and complies with a variety of company activities (e.g. required/contractual training, special projects, proposals, data calls, etc.).
• The candidate analyzes program requirements and assesses adherence to Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) engineering policy and process; examples include configuration management, risk management, airworthiness, safety, and systems engineering technical review (SETR) preparations.
• Performs program management, technical or business case analysis in support of engineering/systems engineering issues.
• Collects, completes, organizes and interprets technical data relating to aircraft acquisition and production programs. Tracks program/project status, actions, and schedules.

Education/Experience:
A BA/BS and four (4) years of experience in a program management, technical or business analysis discipline is required. Included in the four (4) years there must be two (2) years of professional experience in technical efforts supporting Department of Defense (DoD) major weapons system and components development.

Allowable Substitution:
An Associate's Degree and an additional four (4) years of experience, or an additional six (6) years of experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.

Required Experience:
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in DoD weapons systems engineering/systems engineering processes.
