Become a part of the dynamic Business Development team and be an essential contributor to the growth of our innovative company. We are actively searching for technical sales specialist to apply their technical knowledge and application experience to generate revenue in an exponentially growing adaptive traffic systems market.
This opportunity will be responsible for territory in Texas, Oklahoma, and portions of the Mid-West.

Mandatory Experience*:
  • 3-5 years Technical Sales experience with business systems software, process control and/or SCADA systems experience (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Client, etc.) selling to the public sector (such as water treatment plant technology, pumping station technology, SCADA systems). Experience in the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Adaptive Traffic Systems or SCADA systems is highly desirable.

Or
  • Ex-Military with an engineering degree or technical work experience with electronics and/or computer systems and 3-5 years Technical Sales experience.


Candidate Profile:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Transportation/Traffic OR Traffic Engineering.
    • All should have a passion for technical sales and customer relations.
  • Effective verbal skills to comfortably present to large groups of peer engineers.
  • Superior writing skills to develop sound engineered solutions through the Request for Proposal Process (RFP).
  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout North America for multiple weeks during any given month.

Your primary responsibilities would include:
  • Contributing to the revenue generation team responsible for aggressive growth by introducing our vehicle detection products to a client base of municipal, county and state transportation agencies as well as transportation consultants.
  • Developing technical solutions to transportation challenges utilizing the detection products.
  • Capturing business through a consultative sales process.
  • Reviewing and preparing solutions for traffic and/or transportation agencies.
  • Providing technical product presentations and demonstrations.
  • Participating in trade shows, conferences and local professional association's events (i.e. ITS America, ITE).
