Assist with preparations and filing of all Quarterly and Annual payroll related tax returns for Full Service Clients including but not limited to Federal 941 and 940, State Withholding, State Unemployment, Local Withholding, and submittal of wage information to SSA.

Job Duties:
  • Complete Sales Report.
  • Conduct Contract Audits.
  • Complete commission calculations for brokers and sales staff.
  • Process Sales Tax returns.
  • Assist with customer registrations and powers-of-attorney.
  • Respond to tax notices and resolve issues.
  • Keep abreast of current tax laws to ensure compliance in the area of payroll tax and sales & use tax and keep department informed.
  • Maintain all payroll tax related files.
  • Assist with miscellaneous accounting duties including audit prep, year-end prep, schedules, etc.

  • Tax returns are completed accurately and on time.
  • Process to complete assignments and resolve tax issues reflect knowledge of current tax laws and regulations and sound judgement.
  • Meets or exceeds department standards in both quality and quantity of work.
  • Timely and accurate completion of all tasks is maintained in organized, effective, and positive manner.
  • All duties are implemented in a manner to support company policies and procedures and enhance teamwork.

Essential skills, training, and experience:
  • Bachelors Degree in related subject and 3-5 years experience or High School diploma/equivalent and equivalent work experience.
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles and payroll tax regulations.
  • Must be detail oriented, customer focused, proactive and able to work under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, Internet and proficiency in basic office equipment.
