  Our client is a leading electronics manufacturer for the defense and government sectors. They currently have a need for an experienced Electronic Test Technician. This role will start out on a contract basis and does have intentions to go full-time, direct.

Respsonsibilities Include:
  • Primary duty is to ensure that products perform their proposed functions in a satisfactory manner.
    Hard / Soft Skills Needed:
  • Have solid computer & typing skills and be able to use Microsoft Windows, Internet Explorer, Excel, & Word.
  • Be a highly motivated self-starter capable of working independently as well as in group settings.
  • Be well organized and able to multitask.
  • Have good verbal and written communications skills.
  • Have experience using electronic test equipment.
  • Be able to read and understand technical drawings, datasheets, and written work instructions.
  • Must possess at least 5 years' of similar industry experience.
  • Experience doing rework / repair is highly desirable.
  • Excellent attention to details is highly important.
  • Sets up standard test apparatus or devises test equipment and circuitry to conduct functional, operational and environmental tests to evaluate performance of prototype or production products.
  • Uses measuring and diagnostic tools to test and repair unit and subassemblies.
  • Ensures units, subassemblies, and components meet established test requirements.
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
