***Important location/travel note: 60-70% travel. This role will be providing regional support for the North Texas, Oklahoma and Mid-West territory. That being said, this role can be stationed anywhere as long as it is close to an airport. To start with, most of the support will be up in N. TX & OK area, but expanding into the Mid-west in the near future. Please only apply if this works for you.***

Position: Field Application Engineer
This is a critical operations position for the company centered on great customer service and optimizing the performance of our field equipment for cities, counties, and states. The ideal candidate will enjoy helping others and solving mission critical problems. They will be mechanically inclined and have a solid foundation of 1) interest, 2) educational background, and 3) experience in working with traffic signal equipment. This is an organizational and project management intensive position, and will require an energetic person with a keen desire to keep our streets flowing.

You will be using your successful management and organizational experience to:
  • Communicate in a way that keeps the team all pulling hard and in the same direction
  • Ensure customer relations are strong – which is one of the companies best promotional tools
  • Identify new processes and opportunities to increase value within the organization

You will be using your technical experience to:
  • Provide signal turn-on assistance
  • Setting up and configuring video detection equipment
  • Trouble shooting traffic control cabinets
  • Configure wireless radios
  • Provide network setup and configuration
  • Training of public agency Engineers and Signal technicians

Do you have what it takes?
  • Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving problems related to traffic signal equipment;
  • 3+ years traffic signal field experience, IMSA certification level II or III preferred;
  • Experience with Traffic Management Systems required;
  • Computer literate, AutoCAD experience required;
  • Professionalism and customer service oriented;
  • Desire for 60% to 75% travel (Local, National and International).
