ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  1. Responsible for disassembly of all DC Motors
  2. Stamp job numbers in frame, armature, end housing and bearing cartridge
  3. Keep motor parts separated and staged in place for steam cleaning.
  4. Drop field coils out of burned out frames.
  5. Remove connectors from leads when required.
  6. Torches must be kept at proper pressure levels and kept clean. Hoses must be rolled and kept out of the way.
  7. Other duties as required.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

Experience in manufacturing preferred.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
  1. Must be a hands on person capable of working in a fast paced environment.
  2. Must be willing to work additional hours when required.
  3. Must have knowledge of shop math including the ability to use standard and metric systems, and the ability to read scales and weights.
  4. Ability to read blue prints and follow customer specifications.
  5. The employee must exercise responsibility and judgment as to not destroy useable customer materials by improper techniques or tools.
  6. Must maintain control of company owned tools.
  7. Position may require lifting up to 50lbs. and the use of an overhead crane.
  8. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and walk.
  9. Must be able to read in English.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  1. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly working with slippery parts due to the grease.
  2. The noise level in the work area is normal for a factory environment.
  3. The employee is working in a greasy (due to the nature of the parts) and well-lit environment.

  3. Maintain good housekeeping standards around the work station. 
  4. Achieve and maintain production rates as determined by supervision.
