Utilize Bloomberg TOMS extensively across Global Banking and Markets for various business areas, including Rates and Credit. It forms a key part of the business strategy given the importance placed by the product streams to leverage electronic trading on Bloomberg to develop product franchises on a global basis. The successful candidate will help maintain and support the Bloomberg TOMS system and co-ordinate projects on behalf of the Business and other key stakeholders including Finance, IT and Operations. Both strategic and day to day project management will be required.
Responsible for: Technical Operations - The daily Technical Operations and BAU aspect of Administration & Support of Americas Bloomberg TOMS. Examples: Mapping trading books to feeds, Trade & Market data gateway administration, defining ticket defaults, setting-up & updating Compliance rules

Technical Support - The technical aspect of setting-up feeds, gateways and diagnosing feed and data problems. These functions would be run in conjunction with GB&M IT Technical Support and/or Development team

Non-Technical (Business Functions) – Day-to-day BAU Business functions. Examples: Defining and maintaining firm and book structure, setting firm wide repo & financing rates for Cost Of Carry calculations, P&L & Risk updates/corrections, set-up of P&L, Risk/Exposure reports, define Compliance requirements

Main point of contact for any Bloomberg activities/issues, both business and IT related. Day to day support and maintenance of the Bloomberg TOMS system. Major role in managing any changes required on Bloomberg as part of any projects. Full understanding of Bloomberg TOMS integration into Bank infrastructure and main contact for Bloomberg in terms of escalation of issues and understanding of what the system is capable of (e.g. new features / enhancements) and vendor management. Recommending system improvements where necessary
