Our client in Red Bank, NJ is looking for a full time JD Edwards Business Analyst

Position Summary
The JD Edwards Business Analyst has direct responsibility for supporting the business users of the JD Edwards Enterprise One v9.1 ERP system in use enterprise wide. The Business Analyst will assist users of the system with operating specific functions and processes within the system correctly and efficiently. In this role, the Business Analyst will assist with training and educating the user on how the system works, resolving problems and issues, assisting with data extraction and reporting, and helping to ensure the system is being used according to best practices.
The Business Analyst will work with the users and stakeholders to identify ways to continuously improve the configuration and uses of the ERP system. This may include making changes and enhancements that will need to be designed and tested before moving into production. The Business Analyst will have responsibility for making sure designs and testing are accurate, thorough and complete before moving into production.
The Business Analyst will help manage the change control process related to the ERP system functionality. In this capacity, the Business Analyst will work with users and stakeholders to develop reasonable plans and timelines with the business for delivering new and improved features and functionality of the system to add value to the company.
The Business Analyst role will focus on key modules or sections of the JD Edwards Enterprise One ERP system; however, Business Analysts will be cross-trained on other modules to a certain extent to provide backup coverage for each other when a resource is out of the office.
The Business Analyst reports to the Director, ERP Applications.
Position Responsibilities
  • Contribute to a high performing team of employee and vendor resources to provide application support in a complex environment
  • Contribute to or lead internal projects of various size and complexity
  • Work with vendors and third-party service providers
  • Participate in the system development lifecycle management processes, including requirements definition, design, build, testing and roll out.
  • Interact with key stakeholders and users of the system
  • Document system user procedures, job aids, training materials, test plans and scripts as needed
  • Provide data extracts, reports, queries for users, and needed
  • Resolve issues and problem encountered by users
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert for the business users

Position Specific Requirements
  • Primary support for JDE pricing setup and maintenance systems
    • Designs and maintains applications that support pricing and margin analysis
    • Designs and maintains processes and applications to enable rapid implementation of required pricing changes
    • Provides operational support to the pricing and PDM teams by handling all related Service Now incident tickets
  • Primary support for JDE custom Sales Quoting Module
    • Designs and maintains custom applications to support sales quoting based on selected costing and target margin data
    • Designs and supports integration of the quoting system to the pricing module
    • Provides operational support to quoting team by handling all related Service Now incident tickets
  • Primary support for Customer Rebate processing.
    • Responsible for system configuration enabling customer rebate processing
    • Provides training and support to Finance necessary to manage customer rebates using JDE
  • Primary support for non-EDI Sales Order configuration and maintenance
    • Responsible for system configuration enabling customer sales order processing
    • Provides operational support to the order processing teams by handling all related Service Now incident tickets
  • Primary Support for Procurement
    • Responsible for system configuration enabling purchase order processing
    • Provides operational support to the order processing teams by handling all related Service Now incident tickets
    • Currently the Senior Business Analyst for Finance is doing the bulk of this role due to poor performance on the part of the current business analyst
