We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst with strong Financial Industry experience to join a growing team in Philadelphia.
This strategic position provides the opportunity to work with Subject Matter Experts in technology and the business units to conduct analysis on systems and processes, and build an understanding of application and infrastructure environments in their current state as well as planned future state.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
  • Direct, Organize and Lead BI work stream in implementation and use of BI software tools and systems
  • Work on highly complex, cross-functional, and enterprise level business intelligence solutions
  • Operate as a subject matter expert for key BI functions
  • Work stream planning (technical design, development, testing and delivery)
  • Interacts with executive team understanding requirements and BI abilities to assist in business improvement and optimization
  • Design enterprise wide views, dashboards and custom reporting
  • Build prototypes and models to demonstrate capabilities and proposed solutions
  • Develop best practice methods for report deployment
  • Stay abreast of BI products/tools and of business strategies
  • Recommends standards, policies and procedures for use within the BI tools and systems
  • Design and deliver end-user assistance, training and training materials.
  • Train users in the transformation of data into action-oriented information and the correct use of that information
 Skill Requirements
  • Familiarity with Microstrategy reporting environment
  • Knowledge of financial industry (Asset Management, Sales, Marketing, Distribution)
  • Data modeling and schema design
  • SQL query and data access methods
  • Capability to do detailed technical analysis
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving abilities
  • Excellent time management skills – Ability to work under pressure while providing timely and accurate analysis of systems
  • motivated individual – always striving to improve their skill set (with minimal supervision)
  • Proven ability to influence and direct people and projects as necessary.
  • Experience in SDLC using an agile/scrum methodology
  • Experience leading teams
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field
