Position overview
This position is responsible for advancing our Client's corporate vision and strategic plan. The Director of Product Management reports directly to the Senior VP of Product Line Management and is a senior member of the product team, providing market input and helping to set strategy for the entire organization. The position works with PLM leadership to develop tactical plans addressing the needs of existing customers and expanding into new customers both domestically and in select international markets. The Director of Product Management will be responsible the establishment and management of the 18-month product road map. The position will manage a team of Product Owners who will be responsible for specific portions of the product suite including assessing market requirements and managing the feature backlog.  The Director and his/her team will also support marketing efforts and provide sales/support training for our Client's product set.  
 
Responsibilities
·         Contribute to the product vision and five-year plan
·         Become the company's subject matter expert on linear addressable advertising for both local and network controlled inventory
·         Develop and own the 18-month product roadmap for the core portion of the product set
·         Develop and manage a team of Product Owners to:
·         Deliver value through product improvements delivered in planned and well executed releases
·         Define product requirements and use cases to guide the appropriate scrum teams
·         Define departmental goals and KPIs
·         Gather and synthesize market requirements, customer feedback, and competitive information. Translate insights into competitive product positioning as well as business and product direction
·         Set product priorities to help manage the backlog and release process
·         Collaborate with Development, Marketing, Sales, Technical Support, QA, and Operations to maximize value for organization and ensure consistent improvements in our processes
·         Assist the marketing department in its efforts by developing white papers and blog entries for promotional use
·         Represent the organization with customers and prospects
 
Our requirements
·         At least 10 years of product management experience
·         At least 5 years of experience in business and product planning
·         A minimum of 2 years deeply versed in Agile Scrum development with a history of successful projects
·         Experience in driving market requirements using both quantitative and qualitative market analyses as well as competitive assessment
·         Excellent oral and written communications skills
·         A track record of lifecycle product management form planning through execution
·         Cross-functional thought leadership and partnership – particularly the ability to manage conflict and drive to resolution
·         Exceptional creativity and problem solving skills
·         Industry experience helpful, but not required

·         Advertising systems and practices
·         Enterprise software and/or SaaS
·         Managing large integration projects with internal resources and external vendors
·         International markets
