Must Haves:
Finance background – degree or experience with settlement processing
Customer service – able to provide help desk support and troubleshooting
Day to Day high level: log into the system and run through 24x7 settlement cycle. Reviewing banking files and confirming details, lots of checks and balances for different cycles and audit review.

Job Overview:
Provides settlement position management, settlement advice and funds transfer solutions for customers utilizing financial clearing and settlement systems. Supports settlement of the financial transactions processed by Client internal systems. Provides settlement services for some of the customer account receivables generated by the Client Billing System. Manages settlement solutions for all Client regions, facilitating domestic and cross-border funds transfers via various small and large value (e.g., ACH, TARGET, Fedwire, SWIFT) funds transfer systems.

  • Execute the daily settlement operation process for all service cut-offs
  • Manage the collection of member payables.
  • Maintain required logs and analyze exception reports
  • Reviews and maintains Net Settlement Information Form and establish wire transfer routing numbers
  • Ensure processes remain within established internal and external standards
  • Respond to Settlement inquiries and Help Desk questions
  • Provide support to other functions within the department on an as-needed basis.
  • Research special topics as assigned
  • Develop reports as assigned
  • Coordinate work of other employees or temporaries

Education (preferred):
  • College Degree – Business Admin or Finance
  • Working knowledge of desktop computer software systems
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles, treasury operations, and the payment operations industry, including exposure to SWIFT, EFT or ACH operational practices preferred
  • Knowledge of payment card industry is a plus

Working Conditions:
  • Direct supervision of some independent work, work is reviewed for soundness and accuracy.
  • Working hours 8 am to 4 pm Monday-Friday
  • Some early morning/late night shifts as needed
  • Some US holidays and weekend shifts as needed
