Job Title : Oracle DBA

This position will be responsible for supporting the Arizona Department of Revenue's main business Oracle database. Qualified candidates should be proficient in Oracle Database Administration having the proven ability to manage the health and security of the database in addition to performing upgrades, patching, data migrations, backups, tuning and application integration in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified candidates for will require 7 years demonstrated experience in Database Administration including the following skillsets:
1) Configuring and deploying high availability solutions using Oracle RAC.
2) Manage database files using Automatic Storage Management (ASM).
3) Plan, install, configure and perform database upgrades and applying quarterly patches (PSUs).
4) Database Monitoring, Performance Tuning, Optimization, Security and Auditing.
5) Configure and perform database backups and recoveries using DataGuard and RMAN.
6) Import and Export tools such as Data Pump.
7) OEM Database Control, OEM Grid Control.
8) Linux/UNIX OS and shell scripting.
9) Proficiency in the use of Oracle Packages such as DBMS_PROFILER.
10) Performance tuning of SQL using Explain plans.
