Role Overview:
The Data Architect position in the BIDW group of NTT Data primarily focuses on providing Data Design, Development and Integration services to customers. The resource will be responsible for providing Technical and strategic Solution. He/She needs to interact extensively with cross-functional teams such as Technologists, Release Management and Program Management and other engineering teams.
 
Job Responsibilities: 
  • Determines database structural requirements by analyzing client operations, applications, and programming; reviewing objectives with clients; evaluating current systems;
  • Develops database solutions by designing proposed system; defining database physical structure and functional capabilities, security, back-up, and recovery specifications.
  • Well versed in data architecture, understands how to interpret and integrate conceptual models, logical models, view models (snowflake, star-schema), object models
  • Well versed and experience with the use of  design artifacts and artifact tools, principles and standards for warehousing and BI applications
  • Capable of design governance
  • Experienced in agile design methodologies and project work design
  • History of successful warehouse implementations where they have provided design and/or technical leadership
  • Capable of data management solutions, including ETL applications, data cleansing, exception management and conversion techniques, data synchronization and orchestration
  • Understands and has experience with using master data, reference data and meta data concepts for reusability of designs
 



Skills Required:
  • 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in data modeling in Healthcare Payer domain
  • Sound database concepts (Oracle/Netezza/SQL Server)
  • Excellent in SQL skills
  • Knowledge of any one Data Modeling tool – ERWIN preferred
  • Knowledge of any one ETL tool – DataStage/Informatica
  • Knowledge of Any one BI tools
  • Experience in implementing data quality and data governance in the application
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate at multiple levels, including: programmers, non-technical project managers, business analysts, and customers.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
 
Must Have skills –
 
Experience in Healthcare Payer domain
Sound database concepts (Oracle/Netezza/SQL Server)
Excellent Data Modeling skills using ERWIN tool
Experience in Data Warehousing projects
