Responsibilities:
- Serve as a liaison between Business and IT teams
- Create and maintain the Data Product/feature roadmap aligned to the business capability roadmap
- Align Data Product/feature roadmap with IT service provider's capabilities, influence service provider roadmaps where needed (escalate as appropriate)
- Creates and socializes the Product Vision and Roadmap, champions alignment across disparate business and IT points of view
- Outlines initiatives required to realize Data Product roadmap, scopes work, gathers estimates, develop business case, facilitates priority and seeks all approvals
- Drives the Data Product Roadmap realization, i.e., includes implementation, to ensure that business capabilities are delivered in a iterative manner
- Responsible for the overall delivery of product increments that align with the overall Business and IT roadmaps; provides direction and oversight of all Product Delivery (i.e., projects, base business enhancements and support)
- Provides periodic review of overall delivery to Business and provide performance feedback to IT Service providers
- Assesses ongoing business needs and makes recommendations for product requirements
- Creates and maintains knowledge of innovate solutions to enhance Product offerings and suggests Proof of Concepts to drive innovation
- Investigates new solutions, technical innovations and research to stay current on industry trends
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience with direct product management responsibilities
- Experience in Life Sciences for 5+ years
- Keen business acumen and working knowledge of pharmaceutical industry and commercial marketing/operations
- Experience developing data products for internal and/or external users utilizing agile methodology
- Strong project management capabilities
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple points of view to create a high-value product strategy
- Possess the ability to effectively communicate value propositions and technical information to customers and internal audiences
- Comfortable working in cross-functional, multi-cultural teams within a multi-national matrix organization
