FDRMC Production Controller (Management Analyst)
Position Summary:
Life Cycle Engineering is looking for a qualified FDRMC Production Controller (Management Analyst) to join our team.  This is a future overseas employment opportunity with management analyst positions in Rota, Spain to assist FDRMC in the area of tracking, assignment, execution, and reporting of CASREP and AWR resolution functions.  You will provide this assistance to depot level and intermediate level maintenance and to various project teams.
Contract Requirements:
  • Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Must have a valid U.S. Passport.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Compiling data into comprehensible basic reports and spreadsheets used by a variety of both military and civilian organizations during meetings and conferences. 
  • Provide accurate tracking of CASREP statuses for all jobs currently held by FDRMC.
  • Develop definitive work specifications, cost estimates, and material requirements for overhauls/repairs; maintains liaison regarding requisitioning/procurement matters.
  • Develop long-range plan for accomplishment of current and projected workload schedules.
  • Prepare weekly planning status report which includes status of work item preparation and adherence to milestones for all availabilities.
  • Coordinate the scheduling of availability risk assessments and the development of risk letters and other risk documents in accordance with CNRMC instruction for all availabilities in planning.
  • Ensure the required level of quality assurance is incorporated in the job specifications and that the necessary inspections, tests, and reports are prescribed in sufficient detail to prove workmanship.
  • Represent U. S. Navy interest in coordination of efforts with the various customers, TYCOMs, 5th Fleet and 6th/7th Fleet, other U. S. visiting vessel (pier-side), voyage repairs (non-pier side) and other non-naval vessels.  
Required Education, Skills, and Experience:
  • High school diploma
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills and possess the ability to learn.
  • Working knowledge of written and spoken Spanish language.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Microsoft Office software; DoD classification derivation policies; DoD cyber-security policies and procedures; JFMM CASREP handling procedures contained in COMUSFLTFORCOMINST 4790.3.
  • Must have recent and current experience within two (2) years related to the functions and responsibilities listed above.
Physical Demands and Expectations:
  • A team player who exhibits a high level of integrity and professionalism in all situations.
  • Regular physical activity to include walking, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting (up to 50 pounds), and standing.
  • Work safely, following government policies, procedures and work practices in a positive, cooperative, and productive manner.
