Contract (3-4 Months) CTH.

Modeling is a part of the position, but it is more of a design position than a modeling position. There will not be months where you are doing nothing but Irwin (modeling tool).

Candidates need to understand the needs of the project & design, record solutions with a model... but really more of a design position. Candidates are doing the design & the model. This will be almost all transactional design and modeling, not data warehouse. All being done for transactional systems/core business systems.

Design Tools: Visio/Omnigrapple are design tools, but they are teachable.
Modeling Tools: Irwin for modeling. ER Studio exp could translate to Irwin quickly for modeling.

It is an Agile-ish environment. Do not expect a full Agile environment when you come in... Need to be able to adapt to how Dish is doing it and how things change. The work needs to be more important than the process. Dish wants to do more of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), but it's not exact. This role should be doing more in the portfolio and program areas of SAFe.
