Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extension
Remote or Onsite: On location at the Client's site 100% of the time. No telecommuting or remote work.
 
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Develop Timeseries correlation and rank: To calculate Correlation Coefficient and setup quadratic/linear relationship equations for parameters in database and deliver rank table for parameters in database. This will be established frequency driven and one-year moving basis (butmust also be configurable). This will involve integrating with GIS components;
  • Develop Timeseries statistic engine: To calculate and deliver various statistics for all timeseries like rate of change, standard deviation and more using "R" and store in database. This will be established frequency driven and on one-year moving basis;
  • Setup "R" infrastructure;
  • Develop "OneParameter”: Best quality timeseries data module (Level 1 and Level 2) algorithm;
  • Develop "Fixer”: Develop this module and integrate with rest of solution, includes loading of Plot Group integrated with "Rank” table into GVA;
  • Develop "Smart Notification”: Develop this module and integrate with rest of solution;
  • Upgrade GVA application;
  • Upgrade Post-GVA processes.
Requirements:
  • Experience with Java EE and Object-Oriented design (5+ years);
  • Experience with GIS; 
  • Experience in performing data analysis using data mining techniquesand various approaches such as Data processing for statistical analysis, Regressionanalysis, optimization techniques, Time series analysis, Linear & Logistic Regression analysis (2+ years);
  • Experience with Statistical Capabilities in a business context using R statistical language (4+ years);
  • Experience with assisting in the setup of R infrastructure and server;
  • Experience in using Jenkins, Maven and other build and configuration tools;
  • Experience with working in a fast-paced Agile environment;
  • Knowledge of any hydrologic real-time data model e.g. DBHYDRO;
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
