Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 2-3 year contract with possible extension.
Onsite: On location at the Client's site 100% of the time. No telecommuting or remote work.

Responsibilities:
• Work with all stakeholders to identify system needs and gather business and functional requirements;
• Analyze stakeholder requirements to determine the work effort needed to enhance, modify, or create an application and the related impact on other applications / system areas;
• Translate stakeholder requirements into technical and functional specifications for approval, development, testing and code review purposes;
• Develop proof of concepts, mockups and other documents for task and/or activity;
• Write, debug, and maintain code to ensure application functionality, integrate hardware and software components;
• Prepare and complete stakeholder requests for the creation, modification or enhancement of new or existing applications / systems;
• Conduct unit, system, and regression testing;
• Assist, troubleshoot, and validate application deployments;
• Research and evaluate options to help identify ways to improve efficiency, increase security and reduce system issues, errors or data anomalies;
• Write and maintain application documentation (specifications, process flow, etc).

Requirements:
• Experience as a technical team lead for database driven application development projects (10+ years);
• Experience coaching / mentoring other developers with Compuware Uniface technologies version 7 or higher (10+ years);
• Experience with development of database driven client / server applications (10+ years);
• Experience with development of database driven applications in Compuware Uniface environment version 7 or higher (10+ years);
• Experience with Oracle;
• Experience with object-oriented development techniques (3+ years);
• Experience working on development projects utilizing waterfall and agile development techniques (preferred);
• Experience working with stakeholders to gather and document stakeholder requirements (preferred);
• Experience with driver license and motor vehicle systems (preferred);
• Experience with screen / web layout and design (preferred);
• Experience with unit and system testing (preferred);
• Experience working for a government agency (preferred);
• Experience with facilitation (preferred).
