Primary Function of Position:

The Global Health Economics and Outcomes Research Team, Department of HEOR & Market Access at Intuitive Surgical is seeking a highly motivated, hard-working, professional data analyst to support the Scientific Publication and Customer Analytics and Solutions. This individual will also provide support to key Market Research initiatives at Intuitive.

The contractor will provide analytical and consultative support to HEOR and Market Access (approximately 63% of hours) and Market Research (approximately 37% of hours) and participate in value creation process across all clinical verticals. Specifically, the contractor will work on the MOVE projects and create the slide deck for both US and Global initiatives. The contractor will also develop the analytics templates on specific surgical procedures in multiple countries. He/she will incorporate project results into customer analytics reports to drive hospital decision making. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting the results/findings to internal corporate colleagues in cross functional teams and customer-facing field colleagues. He/she will provide analytical and consultative support to the other members of the team and colleagues from other departments. The contractor will also have several Market Research responsibilities, including Online Market Research Library maintenance, and programming, distribution and analysis of surveys in the Qualtrics platform.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Review and critique medical and evidence-based outcomes literature & statistical analyses in surgery
• Design and develop the MOVE deck for multiple countries on key procedures
• Develop the procedure templates for Customer Analytics at hospital level
• Deliver the dashboard and slide deck reports
• Present and interpret results and findings
• Deliver the results/findings through abstract or manuscript publications where possible
• Maintain, update and enhance the capabilities of the Online Market Research Library
• Program surveys into the Qualtrics platform
• Distribute Qualtrics surveys through email and contact database functions
• Analyze survey results
• Support the Market Research team with other primary and secondary research design, collection and analyses as requested

Skill/Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in health economics, health services research, epidemiology, statistics, biostatistics, public health, or related field.
  • Experience in research survey design and programming
  • Strong skills in data analysis
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
