Building Access Manager (Level III)

Job Roles:
  • Responsible for the management/acquisition of new Level 3 network building access, including the implementation and ongoing operation of all such facilities; compliance with health and safety regulations; other building access activities as required.
  • Will liaise with business units to align building access activities with the short and long-term goals of the company.
  • Closes transactions in a high-volume environment, and provides timely responses to assist the Project Engineering and Construction Management (PECM) team.
  • Negotiate and successfully close Building Access Agreements per guidelines set by Building Access management.
  • Coordinates with Corporate Legal in the negotiation of legal requirements and final form of Building Access Agreements.
  • Manage the acquisition of Building Access Agreements and telecom access leases for new service locations and modifications to existing agreements as may be needed from time to time to augment company assets in such sites. Locations include property specific distribution POPs, technical sites and customer premise installations.
  • Function as an integral part of a cross functional team that implements network growth in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Manage and coordinate appropriate responses to Facilities related problems or (internal) client requests.
  • Reporting of performance metrics for site access.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of real estate markets and provides market data and intelligence to business units on real estate activities relevant to the telecom market.
  • Provide building access fee estimates for new service projects.
Job Requirements:
  • Real estate background or Commercial background is a big plus
  • Telecom knowledge – preferred
  • Able to work remotely – communicating via conference and email
  • Written communication skills
  • Independent thinkers, able to motivate and drive him/herself. Go-getter, willing to step in and get work done
  • Understand commercial real estate industry
  • 5 years’ experience or
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
    • High School/GED acceptable
    • Real estate license would be a plus
