"The Systems Administrator role is to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house information systems that support core organizational functions. This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, patching, and optimizing all networked software and associated operating systems. The Systems Administrator will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments. ? Strong interpersonal and communications skills; capable of writing proposals or papers, acting as a vendor liaison, making presentations to customers or client audiences or professional peers, and working closely with upper management. ? Guides and assists clients in defining client needs. ? Ability to solve problems quickly and automate processes. ? A solid understanding of an operating system; understands paging and swapping, inter-process communications, devices and what device drivers do, file system concepts (inode, clustering, logical partitions), can use performance analysis to tune systems. ? A solid understanding of networking/distributed computing environment concepts; understands principles of routing, client/server programming, the design of consistent network-wide file system layouts."

Using computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to manage day to day operations, set up functions, write documents, check e-mail or process information. ? Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents. ? Advanced knowledge of operating systems (Microsoft Windows,)) ? Advanced knowledge of Clustering, Microsoft System Center, knowledge of SCCM to include server builds, patching, and administration. Knowledge of Client hardware, chassis, and configurations. Knowledge in the following areas is desired but not required: Cisco UCS servers, Client Oneview, Altiris for patching
