Registration Coordinator
Duration: Contract for approx 1 month, could be extended
M-F 8am to 5pm
Summary of Overall Job
To provide high level customer service both internally and to event customers. This includes a large volume of outreaching and communication via email and telephone and maintaining quality control on all products and services. The Registration Coordinator will work very closely with the Registration Director on event strategy.

Primary Objective:

Achieving targeted number of actual attended attendees per event.

Performance Measures:

Total number of calls, contacts, leaving messages, call backs (returned phone calls), emails, time spent on research, and registrations.

Essential Duties:
  • The number one requirement and expectation of this position will have a great deal to do with phone calling, research and high-level customer service.
  • Large percentage of the day will be spent making outbound calls
  • Sending/drafting e-mails
  • Creating, editing and deployment of event promotion items
  • Maintaining and monitoring your level of outflow (calls, emails, blasts)
  • Multi-tasking and strong organization
  • Data entry and updating databases – this includes handling finance, making copies, working with the finance dept.
  • Internet Research for quality leads – to increase list of potential invitees
  • Excellent communication skills to both customers and teammates
  • The position requires a great ability of customer service and professionalism over the phone.
  • The ability to move quickly from one call to another while keeping excellent customer service intact is extremely vital to this position.
  • The ability to multi-task is a must; and keeping up with the fast pace work environment.He/she should be well literate on Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and how to navigate quickly on the internet.
  • Database experience on Filemaker Pro is preferable.
  • Typing of at least an average of 55 wpm.
  • Must have a minimum of two years of office experience.
