Senior Financial Analyst
• Perform day-to-day financial reporting and analysis for local operating companies (LOCs).
• Research and resolve inquiries from LOCs.
• Routine communication with supervisors relating to financial close, issues and deliverables.
• Responsible for month-end, quarter-end and year-end close.
• Research and prepare variance analysis and explanations.
• Complete and submit DCP Consolidation & Reporting Deliverables.
• Responsible for the preparation and analysis of the periodic management reporting of financial results.
• Submission of financial results to DCP Consolidation & Reporting Deliverables.
• Prepare all Financial Reporting requirements package.
• Perform Balance Sheet account reconciliations, account analysis, accrual calculations, and other related documents/schedules.
• Prepare journal entries related to assigned functional responsibilities.
• Prepare foreign currency transactions analysis and its impact on financial results.
• Prepare reporting packages: DCP; Corporate; Tax; GST/Canadian filings/audits, where applicable; Audit Engagement Schedules.
• Calculate withholding tax receipts for Corporate Tax.
• Responsible for handling other assignments.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
• Minimum of 5 years’ related experience.
• Expert-level analytical, forecasting and financial modeling skills.
• Proficient at forecasting techniques.
• Effective communication skills (written & verbal).
• Strategic thinker and great presentation skills.
• Ability to influence and persuade.
• Ability to work independently and succeed in a team environment.
• Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills.
• Customer Service Oriented.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently.
• Ability to manage competing priorities.
• Solid PC skills including an advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
• Knowledge of Hyperion, Oracle and/or Cognos a plus.
• Willingness to overtime, when necessary.
