Define performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of supply chain factors, such as product cost or quality.

Develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas, such as sales, marketing, finance, production, or quality assurance.

Meet with suppliers to discuss performance, to provide performance feedback, or to discuss NPI and production forecasts or changes.

Implement new or improved supply chain processes.

Design or implement supply chains that support business strategies adapted to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies.

Leads projects to develop, recommend, and implement changes and process improvements to establish best practices

Requires daily participation, interaction, and interface with cross-functional teams in order to understand the total cost of ownership

Sustain and manage current and develop new acceptable vendors into Ruckus Supply Chain.

Early engage with Eng'g and suppliers to enable roadmap alignment and new product readiness

Define sourcing strategy and sourcing criteria

Establish commodity cost negotiation strategy and deliver on annual commodity cost reduction goals

Position Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, or equivalent experience 10+ years in supply chain management.

Extensive negotiation experience of large or multi-year supply agreements with global suppliers with a proven track record in cost reduction.

Strong negotiation skills and ability to Influence

Cross-functional coordination skills

Strong project management skills

Ability to drive change

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, organized, assertive, self-motivated, takes initiative.

Ability to drive closure on open issues with minimal supervision.

Ability to be innovative in issues related to strategic sourcing, vendor relations, quality assurance and the associated measurement systems.

Strong analytical skills (i.e. cost modeling, quotation analysis, supplier selection).

Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical commodities is a plus.

Travel may be required
