Job Description:
Our client is currently searching for multiple Clinical Counselors/Lead Clinical Counselors for a long-term contract in Homestead, FL. 
 
The Clinicians conduct mental health assessments for all children in care as well as provide ongoing individual and group counseling, screening for human trafficking concerns, and crisis intervention. Lead Clinical Counselor must be licensed, meet the requirements
below and have at least 2-3 years of supervisory experience. The lead Clinical counselor provides oversight of Clinical Counselors ensures quality control of overwork products and ensure adherence to ORR policies and procedures. The COR reserves the right to waive some of these requirements and/or ask the contractor for additional supervisory/performance plans prior to candidate approval.
 
Job responsibilities:
Conduct and document mental health assessments for all children in care as well as provide ongoing individual l and group counseling in accordance with ORR policies and procedures
Screen for human trafficking concerns
Provide crisis intervention
Maintain the UAC case file and UAC Portal in accordance with ORR policies and procedures
Report significant incidents in accordance with ORR policies and procedures
Hours:
Clinicians are needed mostly during the day. Regular hours may range from 8:00am-8:00pm. Clinical counselors' schedules should be staggered in shifts that limit overtime. On Call Clinicians during overnight hours.
 
Requirements:
Bilingual in Spanish
Master's degree in social work (MSW), psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science in which clinical experience is a program requirement; have clinical experience as a part of the master's program requirements OR Bachelor's degree in one of the
aforementioned sciences plus five years of clinical employment experience in this area
